Our Mission
We help ordinary people with extraordinary needs, using the unifying power of music.

The Story
Early on, we had an idea to hold a concert that could help someone in need. It could be an all-female fronted band event, where the ladies would perform side by side for a cause.

There was no recipient at the time, no cause yet, no brand yet, no mission yet, but an idea to come together. It was something our founder had been planning to do for a long time.

Almost a year later, after fighting her own battle with cancer, (combined with a very long journey of overcoming deeply personal hurdles including the sudden and tragic loss of her 26 year old sister & fighting for her own “voice” against all odds) she jumped into action.  Fighting cancer was the catalyst and her lifelong vision came into focus. Our founder Sharon Lia (from the Sharon Lia Band) worked hard to kick off the first event of its kind in 2015.

The vision is to draw on the energy and unifying power of music to bring women together and create an opportunity for the ladies to have a forum where they could use their voices to help others doing what they love.  Every event we have had, we have welcomed new artists and we all volunteer to perform at the event to rock for a cause. (We use “rock” in a proverbial way as a play on words, but while we are a mix of Alt Rock, Indie Rock, Pop Rock and Pop, we would like to express that everyone who volunteers to help “Rocks”!)

By Summer of 2016, she filed the paperwork to form a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and created her team. By 2017 the Board of Trustees was formed to continue bringing others together for a cause. Our Goal is to grow our foundation to help others all year long in addition to helping those whose lives we touch during our annual events.

Our Guiding Principles

We  strive to help others and support each other in friendship and comradery to be a stronger force together.

We  are ladies who share the same stage, like flowers in a field side by side, swaying in the same breeze

making the field a more peaceful beautiful place.

We strive to be the change we want to see in the world.
We  uphold a positive demeanor and put only the best vibes to the universe. It is vital since we represent
an organization meant to do good.

We are a community of like-minded rocking ladies (and gentlemen too!) who are willing to do all they can to rock for a cause and be a strong and positive force together.
